WEEKEND RECAP @ PF CHURCH

All I could think about was how excited I was as Pastor Brian spoke this past weekend. Our new Children’s pastor of 2 ½ months hit it out of the park this past weekend. There was a buzz in the faith community and many who were talking about getting involved in the “Unite Kids” children’s ministry. I attended the Children’s Ministry party at the museum and there were 167 people; the place was packed with energy, Kids climbing the walls or poles (see below) and we had to do another pizza run to just serve all the people. “Think Orange” was a great success and I am one happy pastor.

BOB LENZ COMING TO PRAISE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH

Our mission is "Faith in the Living God and Hope for a Hurting World." There are opportunities that we can take advantage of to reach people who are lost. The sole purpose of this weekend is to reach lost people. As Christians, we have to pray our guts out, love and serve people with a sincere heart and take advantage of the opportunity to invite people who are far from God. We have four services this weekend, and I am believing them to be packed full with new faces who need Jesus. Church, spread the word: this is a huge opportunity to see a bunch of miracles. Our speaker is...

Author and National Speaker coming to Praise Fellowship Church this weekend!

Bob Lenz speaks to over 350,000 teens and parents across the country each year. He has a down to earth style of humor that gets you laughing at one of his embarrassing moments and getting choked up over one of his true stories all the while you are hit right between the eyes with a powerful thought. This is a golden opportunity to experience a miracle.

You are not going to want to miss this weekend!

Bring a Friend and come early;

God is going to change lives!

Measuring Up for the Upcoming Wedding - December 19th, 2010

Wow - I have prayed for this day & it is going to happen. Luke, Alyssa's Finance' treats her like a princess and I love his sense of humor. There are 5 things I told him when he asked for her hand in marriage: First of all, and most of all, that he was a spiritual leader. Secondly, that there love would be based upon a commitment not a feeling. Thirdly, that he would treat her like a princess. Fourthly, that he would be wise in his finances throughout their lives. Last but not least, that he would have a huge core value to hear from God everyday and whenever they seek direction for their future. I have complete confidence that Luke will do all of these and more. I am thrilled to get a son in-law like Luke and most of all that my daughter will be happy the rest of her life.
The Lord answered my prayer of 25 years!

Never can get enough of these guys...

When we get together we laugh, we share, we play games, we laugh and we sometimes eat too much. Nothing is as great to Joy & I as getting our family together. We look forward to those times, savor the memories and hope for more. The Apple's are a blast to be with and I can't get enough of hanging out together. This was a momentous trip to Purdue University to make sure Trent got moved in OK and to keep Mom from crying too much.

YOU WILL BE MISSED!

It is a difficult time to see our high school graduates go off to schools all over the world. We are so proud of each and every one of them. The only thing about this go around of graduates is that one of them is mine. My boy is going off to a university in another state and man am I going to miss him. Although I am sad to say goodbye, I am excited to see how he will use his God-given abilities to make an impact on the world. God has a wonderful plan for Trenton but it is not easy for me as a parent to see my son transition. As a parent and the pastor of lots of graduates that will be transitioning in a few weeks I want to share some thoughts that I have been messing with these days. What can I say to some of those who are transitioning?

Dear Senior, We are so proud of each and every one of you. God has a wonderful plan for you, and if you stay faithful to him, you will see that plan come to fruition. As you finish one chapter of your life and get ready to start a new one, always cling to the redeeming power of God’s love. High School is difficult, but trust us – life will only get tougher from here, and you will experience new challenges with every step you take. But you have the love of Christ, which will comfort and encourage you during all of life’s hardships. Always stay committed in your relationship with Christ, continuing from the spiritual foundation you built during high school. We pray that you will always recognize God’s presence in your life, remaining faithful to his perfect love and magnificent purpose. Remember— your identity is in Christ! You have the power to truly make a difference in the world. Keep us updated on all the exciting things you do in the future. We’d love to see you! God Bless, Pastor Chuck

My son will leave with all the many who will make that transition this fall and I will truly miss him. No matter how hard it is to see my son leave there is one thing I hang onto…the best is yet to come. Each day we think about how proud of him we are. We really believe that God has great things in store for Trenton. I love you Trent! Your Dad

SUNDAY @ PF CHURCH

People gathered with a sense of excitement and anticipation as we worshipped in our four services this past weekend.

Brat days & Gus Macker tournament were our competition, but nothing beats experiencing the presence of God and the Joy of the Lord. I love it when the church comes together! We have a blast giving it up for Jesus in worship, teaching, serving and giving. Pastor Brian was doing some creative crazies as he put together a video announcing the new kids ministry and kick off time for the family at the Over & Above Children’s Museum in Sheboygan.

The best part for me is to see lives transformed by the Spirit of God. That never grows old for me and I anticipate God’s movement each week.

I guess what still is in my heart is a prayer I have been giving up to Jesus all week. I have been praying that we would live in the Tree of Life rather than the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. If you didn’t hear the message, it would be well worth hearing the message asap; you can pick one up at the information center. The cry of my heart is that we would all become greater lovers of God and people of his presence. There is nothing more satisfying than to live in the tree of life 24/7. It will take some effort but we all can move closer into the intimacy that God is calling his church. Don’t miss next week as we take on the second part of the series on the emotional healthy church. See you next weekend! Come expecting God to do something great in all of our hearts. If you didn’t hear the message get the CD at our info center.
